Tisha's Christmas

You know Christmas is coming when u see Tisha's decorate Christmas tree. My house has a tradition, Tisha will always be the one who decorate the Xmas tree. Reason? I also dunno. So, early December, my mum took out all the tools for Xmas and set up the tree. Then she will put on the light and i will be the one who decorates it.

The decorations that i was having were all bought few years ago, that was why i decided to buy new decorations. Those new decorations will be on one tree (my masterpiece) and the other will be on the rojak tree, which means all those old and ugly decorations will be put on it. So..wanna see my decorations? Here we go....

My Christmas tree..This year theme is round round balls~I know is not nice..but i really have no inspiration. So stick with the safest one..Round round balls.Is my masterpiece and i dont want any comments about this tree!

Presents for small kids, These are prepared for those kids who will be coming to my house together with their parents who will be praying and singing christmas songs in my house. What is inside? Hehehe small small cheap cheap things. Just to make those kids happy.


I bought hand madesnow. It is made of polystyrene. So they break easily. I still remember when i showed my mum those polystyrene, she looked unhappy and asked me why did i buy them which were low quality and ugly. I was so upset, so i decided to prove to her that they looked nice. To thick them on the ceiling according to my plan, i need a ladder. So I needed to get the ladder out from the store room but i didnt because it was too dark. So i asked my dad to take it out for me but he refused. So i angrily decorating my Xmas tree while staring at my dad with my angry and fierce eyes. Then i shouted suddenly and scolded my dad because he sat on my polystyrene snow and they are falling apart. So i screamed very loud and scolded " You didnt help me to decorate my Xmas tree, didnt help me to take out my ladder and now you destroyed my snow!Hmmm!" So i started to "repair" my snow and didnt want to talk to him. Then, before my dad went upstair, he took out the ladder. I was so happy so i thanked him and smiled at him.

I stuck those snow the next day, using the ladder which is like 190m? I was so scared, from that height, it was so scary! Luckily i finished them very soon and faster get off from the ladder. Now! my mum praises me and say they look nice and my sis praised me that i have a good taste! Hmmm! Happy!

This is wang wang, my family dog. Those who are my regular visitor should know about wang wang. I forced him not to move so that i could put the ribbon on his head. I promised to let him eat something in return, thats why he agreed to let me put the ribbon for few seconds. So..what did i gave him in return? I gave him fish~~one small piece hahaha. Yes! i am evil! and i admit i like to torture him!

Tisha Uni Life

When Tisha was having her first semester in Uni, she was a hardworking girl. She attended every lecture and sit right infront of the projector with her printed notes. She even wrote notes for every lecture and never talked to friends in class. Her results for that semester were 8777.

Then the second semesters, she started to sit at places that the lecturer couldnt notice her. She stopped printing and writing notes and never listen during lecture. She didnt attempt most of her tutorial questions and always studied last minutes. Her results for that semester were 7776.

This semester, she never printed her notes and never listen to lecture and never did her tutorial. She even escaped class or went to class late. She even failed one of her mid-semester exam because she didnt know the format of answering the question. Her results for this semester were 8776.

The results that Tisha get are not considered as Excellent but they are better than many people. It might be true that Tisha never listen in class and never attempt her tutorial questions but during exam period, she study days and nights to understand everything. She is a hardworking girl. If she cant finish all the chapters she wants to study on that day, she will not sleep. During exam period she study like orang gila and doesnt sleep well or sometimes doestnt sleep at all.

This sem, Tisha faced a problem. There was a subject that she was really not confident in. The first time in her uni-life that she started to afraid. She afraid that she might failed. The failure will lead to problem in choosing subjects for the following sems and also delay her graduates. She coundnt sleep well after the exam and prayed everynight hoping that god will make some changes to her mark.When she saw her results, she was jumping up and down. She was too happy that she passed! with credit! yah~~she got 60 for it. hehehe~~lucky! Besides that, during exam periods, she didnt sleep much which cause her waist to be very painful. It might be because of stress. So when she came back to Brunei, after a long long and comfortable sleep. She didnt feel any painfulness. Yes! no more pain~~Amazing right? hehehe~~

So~~thanks to god! I passed! Thanks to all my friends! I passed! Thanks to my family members! I passed!

I will continue to work hard to get better results!

Life and Renewal: Green is life. Abundant in nature, green signifies growth, renewal, health, and environment. On the flip side, green is jealousy or envy (green-eyed monster) and inexperience.

Culture of Green: Green is the national color of Ireland and is strongly associated with that country. Green also has close associations with Islam. Because of all the green in nature the color is reminiscent of Spring. Coupled with red it's a Christmas color.

Using Green: With both a warming and cooling effect, the color green denotes balance, harmony, and stability.

So.....Tisha started to love green since she was in Form 4, reason? "It all started on the day i bought a green school bag. I am a person who like everything to be even. When i have a bag in one colour..i wan all my stuff inside to be in the same colour as the bag..So i started to buy green keychain(which is a big doggie.And i still using it now..4 yrs lerr~~), my bottle..my fan..and many more larr.That is when i found that green is a lovely colour…heheh.." So i wanna take the pictures of my green things, then only i notice it is hard. How to take?take what? My bottle? my key chain? even my clothes and socks? How to take my clothes ? i wear them and take? or i jus hang the clothes and take? weird...so i will not take my baju and my socks. Everything that can be wear i will not take.

1) Froggie Wrapping paper. (is a wrapping paper that i bought to paste on my wall in my hostel. Because it is green and there are froggies all around.)

2) Green Vacuum (My green vacuum which is use to clean my notebook keyboard.)

3) My green bottle (My new green bottle, i use it days and nights. Cute ya!? even got straw..hehehe. It makes me wanna drink water everytime.)

4) My froggie bank ( which was given by my dad. He got it from a SC bank. He told me he donate $1 then he got that thing..)

5) My green bean frog alarm clock. (Cute ya? same as my msn emo..i like it so much..hehehe cute!!)

7)My wallet (A green wallet which was given by xue mei, but i didnt use it..haha~~she gave me sinc 2006. 2 years later i still haven use it. Why? because i plan to use it wen i go vacation. hehehe so i just keep it 1st)

8) The shrek baby ( which i bought from Mc donald. Got sound de oh..very cute..haha~i am not a collectors for this. i bought it only because it is green. When i got it, i play the sound everyday to my sis. until she say me gila )

Soil Erosion + Landslide

Soil Erosion and landslide. How serious they will cause to people? When i was in high school i learned that soil erosion will bring lots of trouble to people. Reason? Check it yourself. As for landslide, i know it is one of the reason that cause tsunami. Why? Check it yourself. The reason of this blog is not explaining the the cause of soil erosion and landslide. I am here to tell u soil erosion and landslide happened in my simpang.

Raining can be considered as one the cause of soil erosion. Why do i say so? Brunei is experiencing the end of year raining season this few months. The rain will last for few hours or a day. Those who live nearby the mountain area started to worry..because the soil started to become loose and eventually become soil erosion. You will think.."Soil erosion nian mah..what so big deal" Now i tell you how big deal is it.

Subok used to be a mountain area, and has developed become estate area. So most of the houses are built nearby mountain or on top of the mountain. My neighbours' houses which are located opposite to my house always have the problem of flooding inside the house as the soil fall from the mountain has blocked their drain. They think it is a small case so no one is concerned bout it.

Until something happened last month.....

Yes, the soil got into one of my neighbour's house. So all my neighbours have no choice but to move, incase something terrible happen in the future..

And....something terrible did happen last night. It was raining whole day yesterday, my mum who was ironing the clothes showed me the direction of the mountain and said "see the soil? and the water falling from the mountain? there will be something terrible happen tonight"

And my mum prediction was right. Around 9pm, my uncle told me that he heard cracking sounds from the opposite direction. Slowly, we heard window breaking and walls falling. It was a gathering for church in my house last night, my mum and one of the aunty came out and watch the scene. The rest of the uncles were busy kepo-ing and some of the uncles who work in Sin Chew Daily started to take lots of lots of pictures. To make it the heading for today newspapre. What was i doing? Took chicken wings up and waiting for the exciting things to happen. We all agreed that " This is more exciting than watching tv" .So..i kept eating and when something fell..i scream and like orang gila started to shout "Fell Fell!!". Hahaha..

So what so big deal with those craking sound and window breaking? Very big deal!!The houses going to collapses!! You will never have the chance to see the process of house collapsing. Let me show you the process...


See the house? it was bending, those bending and crack were the reason for the cracking sound and the breaking of window.


Then slowly bend till like this? going to become single storey house dy..see the light? people kept taking pictures and video.


BOMB...suddenly the house become single storey with flat roof..hahahahha


Then the balcony, if you all can recognise where is it, fell..

Tisha's Skin

Since many many years ago, I started to notice that my skin has problem. My skin is consider as dry skin and sometime will feel itchy. I also notice that my wound and scar cure very slow. Normaly people take few days to cure and i take few months. That is why i decides to see doctor.

When I went into the clinic, I sit and waited for 1 hour. When it was my turn, the only thing that the doctor did is to scratch my right hand with a big "X" then asked me to wait outside for skin scanning later. I could see my dry skin started to turn red and i started to feel pain Y.Y

When it was my turn for skin scanning, he scan my dry dry skin and i dun even dare to look at the screen because it was scary. After scanned, he asked me to sit beside his desk and started to explain to me.

The first thing that he said was " Your skin is terrible, it is very dry and sensitive." Then he started to point at the skin layers poster on the wall and explained " bla bla bla(about the skin layers which i learned in my science class before)".
The most important thing was he told me that " Normal people has 100% skin protection layer and your only has 60%, thats why your scar heal 5 times slower than normal people" I was like @.@ ?!

The doctor then looked at me in a sad way as if i am really hopeless. Then he continued with " I will give you some cream to apply to your scars and because your skin is consider as allergic type so i am afraid that the cream is not working, but no harm trying." so he gave me few creams and advice me not to eat chicken, egg, prawn, crab and even drink milk. How can i dun eat those things? is a need for me!

so~~~how much does it cost?! it cost me rm120++ scary! Ask him go rob the bank better!

I was so sad that i decided to tell my mum about it, since she was the one who gave birth to me and gave me this 60% skin protection layer. Then....when i told my mum bout my skin the only thing she said is "慢好就慢好啦，不能吃不能吃啦，哈哈哈，那个电视节目很好看。。哈哈哈，那只狗很可爱" (slow to cure slow to cure larr, cant eat cant eat larr..hahaha that tv program very nice hahaha, the dog very cute ---singlish)

I was like @.@?!!?! She didnt even care? Is this the mother who gave birth to me! She didnt even feel guilty for what she had given me! must be what she eat when she is having me! Bad mother!!

So...what to do? i got no one to blame, so i blame my self to born in this way. I blame myself for having the allergy skin. I blame myself that i attract mosquito easily. I blame myself that i dont like the feeling of itchiness. So i blame myself that i keep scratch my wound. So whose fault? My fault...hai~~~~

~熬夜~Burning The Midnight Oil~

Tisha is giving Tips.
Tips of telling student what you Needs while studying in the mid night.

Tip 1

The essential things when you are studying. Books, revision notes, stationary, table and chair. Without any of those, you are not studying. You are just pretending to study or showing off to your parents that you are studying. The table must be messy,with notes all on the table.

(I wonder issit a good thing that the table must be messy? haha~when i am studying, my table always has lots of lots of paper. Bad Habit)



Tip 2

You need something to entertain you.Especially in the mid night, so you will not think of something scary. As for Tisha, her MP3 and cell phone are her entertainment.

(Things that i cant live without with, my lovely mp3 and my lovely phone. They are consider a neccessities to me! )




Tip 3

Technology is advancing nowadays. People used to listen to radio,now people use their cell phone to play songs. Tisha? She uses her MP3 with built in speaker to play songs. Do not use earphones, it hurts your ears. Remember that. The songs that you play can be songs that you like, but i recommend that you listen to peaceful song for example Joe Hisaishi. His music makes you peaceful and calm. So you will not be angry even though what you read cant go into your mind.

(My lovely MP3! is touch screen and the sound is good! cool cool cool!! love it! what brand? SAMSUNG!)




Tip 4

Make sure you set your own timetable. For Tisha 2.am, she has to start with the new topic and by 3.30 she has to finish that topic. This is the use of cell phone for me. You can use alarm clock, but it will be noisy. Remember, it is middle of the night. You do not wish to wake your parents up.

(My stupid phone. I notice it looks nice haha, it a touch screen phone, Dual sim card. Yes it is from china. Hahaha how much? 600 Hong Kong Dollars. Cheap? China phone is considered as a bomb, because ther are many case that it explode. I wonder will people say that i am terrorist? becuase i am bringing a weapon eh..hahaha. See the green thingy?! Cute! is a turtle. The ribbon is a sticker, i stick on it purposely so it wont be bald. Cute! It will has light if there were signal. I like it! )



Tip 5

You need to drink a lot of water, because up late means you are hurting your body system. The only thing that you need is to drink lots of water. Why? I also dont know, this is what my mum tells me. Tisha recommend that you use a bottle with straw, because you can drink with the use of straw while you are studying. This actually save your time. If you use normal bottle, it toold you 10 seconds to take the bottle and bring it to your mouth and drink it. Within 10 seconds you miss reading more than 30 words. No good!

(My new bottle! Is GREEN!With straw lagi. There was one day, i was talking with my friend while drinking water and he suddenly said " It has been 6 years since the last time i saw ppl drinking water with straw." I think is convenient, so i dun care :P Oh! the monkey sticker..cute right? it reminds me of my dad. so i stick it. Haha i didnt mean that my dad is a monkey,it is his chinese horoscope.)



Tip 6

Staying up late means you must beware of something. Apa tu?! Pimples! See my forehead?! Pimples! So what to do? Get rid of the hair! You can tie it up or u can do wat i do, so you will have less pimple. Why there will be pimples on the forehead but not other places? I dont know about you but for my case, my pimples can be all around my face EXCEPT my cheeck. I dont know why.

Dark pouches is another issue if you stay up late, you can do it continously if you dont mind peopl calling you panda. According to survey, guys like their girl friend without any panda eyes. I wonder is it true or not. Will you dislike your gf if she has panda eyes? Just because of panda eyes you break up with your gf? That bf is useless, i will kick him away.

(Me hugging a pillow while studying, is nice to hug the pillow. Especially when it is a big one. Hehehe. I admit i look stupid wen i am at home, and i like to make my hair like this. Comfotable. hehehe..and i notice that i really have not much hair. Hai~~sad. And i got no eye brown!? Cham!)

Tip 7

Need a rest? Walk around and you will notice something interesting and make you laugh. My dog, Wang Wang, is lying on the sofa. He look cute >.<>

(Wang Wang, my other family member. He has been with us for 4 years already. So you at him! No respect at all! he sleep on my sofa! ppl sit,he sleep! Normally i will torture him! becuase he is not allow to sleep on my sofa. But..my mum didnt scold him, so i just let it be. Lucky dog! Stupid wang wang!)




After that? Go to sleep larr! Need a rest = You are sleepy! Remember, nothing can go into your brain if you cant concentrate. Sleep early and wake up early to study is the best. You can absord things easily and you are fully charge. So you have more energy to study.

What is your Nationality my long lost friend?

Last night i chatted with a friend of mine who left Brunei and immigrated to Australia in the year of 2004.
Why do i call my friend as a long lost friend?
It is because ever since my friend left Brunei,we never have the chance to contact each other.

Thanks to FACEBOOK we found each other and exchanged emails.

How i know this friend? Since 2001...

We studied in the same high school, St.george's School.
We went to the same church, church beside our school.
We was in same class.
We gossiped about girls and boys.
We talked about studies.
We prayed in the church together when we were having exams

Until 2004...

My friend immigrated to Australia with the family.
All our friends went to airport and farewell my friend.
We promised to keep contact with each other but we didnt.
So we lost contact and...
I forgot my friend..

Four years later, 21.10.2008...

We chatted with each other through MSN.
Everything seems not right, we didnt know how to start a conversation.
I know that every thing have changed and we cannot get back to what we used to be.
I was surprise to know that my friend had become the citizen of Australia and had given up the citizen of Malaysia.
From what i know, Malaysia citizenship is difficult to apply and the passport of Malaysia is costly. Many people try to steal, rob and even make a fake one to get it...and my friend gave up on it.
My friend told me that my friend want to get USA citizenship in the future as it will be good for my friend's career and USA accept dual citizenship.

I feel sad...

I think it is good that people have ambition, they want to go to a bigger places and from there, they can get better future.

Like what my dad always tell me, my life is not just within Brunei and Malaysia. I should look further..it is possible that i even work in places like Egypt or even Korea. Is the matter of i dare to dream or not.

But..no matter where i go, i will remember my own country..Malaysia.
A country of mine yet i am not familiar with.
A 24/7 summer country that i love and hate.
A country that i am now staying in.
A country that I will never give up on my own nationality.

My friend used to write his nationality as Malaysian.
So now will be Australian and in the future will be American/Australian?

So when the child ask " What is my nationality?"
So my friend will answer " You suppose to be Malaysian but we gave up on that so we are either Australian or American"

It might be offensive if my friend see this, and i do not know the reason why my friend has given up the nationality.

But this is just my thought.

For people like me, who grew up in Brunei will not know much about Malaysia.
What is happening to Malaysia will not be our problem and we are no concern about it.
We only go back once in a year.
We will not think that Malaysia will be a place for our future.
That might be the reason why we do not care so much about our nationality.

But....

Once you stay in Malaysia, no matter which state..
You will notice that it is not as bad as u think..
You will notice that Malaysia can be a place for your future..
You will notice that Malaysia is the place that you are looking for..

So..When people ask me "Tisha, What is your nationality?"

And my answer will be..

" I am Malaysian and I am proud of it!"

Happy B-day to Bapa John

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

In the year of 1956, on October 19th. The 3rd son of Chin's family was born. He was named John Chin P S. In 1982, he married with Theresa Kong P T and gave birth to 4 children within 6 years. They are my parents.

Today 19.10.2008, my dad is 52 years. He has a happy and harmony family with a lovely wife and 4 good children. If someone asks me " how you describe your dad?" I will definitely answer he is not only my parent but also my friend.

My dad is tall with the height of 181cm and the weight of 90kg. He has a small eyes and dimples which i always feel jealous of! This is because i dont have one! He has a very dark skin due to the work he is doing, a constuction manager, who needs to go to the working area and look at the buildings.

My dad never punish me instead he never scold me. So i am considered a spoil child because the way i talk to my dad is just like the way i talk to my friend. I never afraid of my dad, so if there is anything i disagree or dislike i will tell him directly and my dad will agree if i was correct. If my idea was wrong, my dad will tell me lots of lots of reasons and the reason always start with " You listen to me, i tell you a story....and the story begins with...." Sometimes is tiring to listen to what he says but whatever he says seems to be truth.

I always tell my dad everything, including what is happening around me, my relationship, my study and many things. He will always listen to me and tell me his opinions regarding to my things and tell me what i should do. He is also a generous father, he will always buy handphone suddenly and the handphone will be used by my siblings and he is always the one using the lousy and old fashion phone.

Whenever my friends visit Brunei, my dad will always happy to welcome them and he normally will treat them sushi. My friends(Brunei friends) always like to come to my house because my house is like a gathering place for all of them. My dad will welcome them with a smiling face and they can do whatever they want. Even my friend, Joyce, will make joke that Uncle John is her god father. She sometimes call my dad as 干爹 and my dad will just laugh there.

My brother,Ignatius, used to describe my mum as " 一个无人可以取代我们心中的女人" during mother's day on stage and describe my dad as "一个很啰嗦的爸爸" during father's day on the stage. The way that we describe my our mum and dad differently is because we know that the personality of my parents are different. My mum like to listen to sweet words, because she is a sensitive woman. So we wish to describe her with sincerity. In contrast to my mum, we know that our dad is a person who can accept every joke. So we describe him that way, to represent that he will always tell us stories and the stories might be repeated or boring but we all know the reason for the story and we will listen to it.

No matter what, he will always be my best baba and i will love him forever.

Me and my dad, many people say we look alike.

Things happened on 16 october 2008

Today i got my birthday present from one of my O-week "Custom" group member Xanver. Funny thing is my b-day is on 24/7, which mean it was a very very very belated b-day present.

This was what happened...

I was sitting in the cafe, listen to my lovely Samsung Mp3, then suddenly someone approached me and said "happy belated b-day" with my present on his hand. I was so surprise but of coz i accepted my present. I felt sorry, becoz when Xanver b-day i didnt give him anything..Sorry!

So took my present out from the plastic bag and notice a box with the brand ZIPIT. I thought it was a lipstick or something hehehe..Then when i took out the thing from the box, it was a funny looking green zipping thingy. So i tried to zip it and it was a pencil case. A green one!

Happy~~hehehehe i can change my pencil case next sem finally! after using my pencil case for 3 years. hehehe...

My present

In the afternoon, me, Michelle and Jun went to Emart to buy things for the dinner preparation. Around 5pm, we arrived ah Jun's house but Michelle and ah Jun wished to jog. So they went to jog around the housing area and left me in the house doing what i wanted to do. I washed the sayur-sayuran then did what i suppose to do with it. By the time they came back i wash cutting garlic. After that Michelle started to cook. Our dinner started at 9pm haha~~then we all fooled and joked around till 10 something. It was a tiring day, even till now i still a but blur. I think that is because i laugh too much.

Btw, just now they all laugh at me. Is it wrong to use the bottom a bottle(glass) to press and hit the garlic instead of the using knife. I dun use knife becoz i dun think my knife is big enough and i dun think i have the strenght to hit and press the garlic.

anyway~~fun and unexpected day.

Tisha's 旧病复发！

Tisha is suffering these few days...
Her waist is painful...
Because she bent down and washed dishes in long house for hours + she water the plants (4-5 rows) continuously.
So...my waist start to feel pain
last night~~i couldnt walk properly. i couldnt sleep properly. when i lie down, i couldnt get up..
so i went to 推 today...
it was painful~~
i suffer like hell~~
then got tears come out...
becoz painful~~

then my uncle said "那个是旧病来的，要好好的拿东西，用对的姿势拿和蹲。不然腰又会复发”

so...hahaha~~i not going to carry heavy stuff anymore!

遗失的翅膀

遗失的翅膀

天使的翅膀不见了，所以他迷失了方向。
人们开始慌了，因为天使变了。
他不再是那个善良和处处为大家想的天使。
他变得小心眼而脾气也变得特别暴躁。

有人说天使其实是恶魔的化身。
也有人说天使和恶魔有了交易，所以把翅膀当作赠品送给了撒旦。
又有人说他不愿再做个天使了，所以把翅膀丢了。
没有人知道为什么天使的翅膀会不见，天使也不对任何人做出解释。

其实。。。
天使他开始觉得害怕了，

他怕他做的决定是错的。
他怕他还是伤害了他不想伤害的人 。

他怕他真的就如人们所说的那样是个恶魔的化身。

所以天使他变了...........

有一天。。。

凡间突然出现了一个拥有翅膀的黑发小女孩，

人们称她为黑发天使，

而她的心就如天使一样的善良。

凡间也因她而变得很和平。

但是。。。

有人有了疑问

“为什么天使是黑发的呢？”

“她真的是天使吗？”

“她其实是恶魔吧！”

天使的翅膀为什么会不见呢？Tisha还没想到~~慢慢的等灵感吧！
